GALLERY EXHIBITS

The Clay County Heritage Center is located in downtown Spencer. It opened in July 2012 and It houses two galleries and the bulk of our collection. A permanent exhibition in the Dvergsten Gallary titled “This Land We Call Home – Settling Clay County” illustrates archeological, pioneer, and early Clay County histroy, including the 1931 Spencer Fire.
The South Gallery features rotating exhibits with WWI Honor Roll and Clay County: Lest We Forget currently on display
